Jawad Riaz, MD

Dr. Jawad Riaz completed medical training at King Edward Medical University, Pakistan. Early during medical school, he became enthusiastic about pursuing combined training in internal medicine and psychiatry. He completed his psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Cabrini Medical Center. . He has often been inspired by patients’ resilience, creativity and innovation in solving complex problems and in navigating shared decisions between patient and physician. He also holds vast experience working as an adult psychiatrist at Community medical health centre.

In his practice, he focuses on comprehensive and extensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment plans specific to individual needs with goal of promoting lifestyle balance and mental wellbeing. Dr.Jawad Riaz has significantly earned the reputation of treating patients with all psychiatric issues ranging from depression, mood disturbances, bipolar disorder, panic, social anxiety, OCD, psychosis, Paranoia, schizophrenia, sleep problems, attention problems PTSD, as well as troubles with work and relationships.

Currently, he is an active member of American Psychiatry Association (APA), American Medical Association (AMA), American Association of Sleep Medicine (AASM) and American Association of Addiction Medicine (AAAM).

Dr Sabeen Riaz

Sabeen Riaz, MD


Psychiatrist Dr. Sabeen Riaz, attended medical school at Fatimah Jinnah Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan, and earned her MD degree in adult psychiatry at University of Mississippi Medical Centre, Jackson, MS and later completed her fellowship training in Child and Adolescent psychiatry.

She understands how important optimal mental health is to overall physical health and believes that a healthy brain is a key for wellbeing, balanced and optimal functioning of an individual being.

Currently active in the American Psychiatry Association (APA) and American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP), she offers not only evidence-based psychiatric treatment but also a path towards long-lasting change and a deeper understanding of the mind. She assists patients with a range of difficulties, including mood, anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, and crisis of identity, interpersonal issues and ADHD.

Kiri Nevin PMHNP

Kiri Nevin is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and is exhilarated to join Dr. Riaz’s staff. Kiri began her nursing career almost ten years ago after graduating with her bachelor’s in nursing science from the Medical University of South Carolina. She was first stationed as a registered nurse with the US Public Health Services at two federal correctional facilities. After resigning her commission, Kiri went back to school to pursue her doctorate of nursing Practice in psychiatric mental health; she is a recent graduate of Rush University in Chicago, IL. In addition to her nursing experiences in the federal prison system, she gained valuable clinical insights working on a geriatric psychiatric and behavioral inpatient unit. Also she work on adult and child/adolescent eating disorder inpatient units, and in an outpatient mental health clinic assisting in the treatment of adult patients. Kiri’s goals are to treat her patients with dignity and compassion in their times of distress, and help her patients achieve, maintain and live to their highest potentials. She will strive to have a collaborative relationship with her patients, encouraging them to be active participants in achieving and maintaining positive mental health. Her clinical interests include substance use disorders, eating disorders, depression and anxiety. Kiri enjoys exploring new cuisines with her husband, and spending all the time she can with her three children. Her children keep her busy as she cheers them on at their water polo and soccer games, and gymnastics meets.

Micah Shuler, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC


Thomas Files, LPC


Having worked in hospice for more than 20 years and served as a national speaker at hospices in many states as well as the National Hospice and Palliative Care Convention. Thomas has been devoted to team Eximous in serving the people to improve their lives through skilled counseling.

As a passionate individual Counselor, his experience in hospice as well as individual therapy to help clients achieve their potential has enabled him to facilitate family and couple therapy.

Jeffrey D. Ross

Jeffrey D. Ross, MBS, LPC


Jeffrey has worked in mental health counseling for the past eight years and believes that patients have within them the ability for amazing change. He works with patients to discover barriers to personal growth and helps them overcome obstacles within their lives. Working from the Reality Therapy/Choice Theory perspective, he believes that through problem identification, planning, and commitment to better choices, patients have within them a capacity for growth and positive change.

He has worked with patients from many different backgrounds to specialize in anxiety, depression, anger management, relationship issues, and LGBT issues. He is at ease exploring the complexities of modern relationships and personal issues. He holds a firm commitment to supportive counseling and has experience providing the structure and support patients need in order to make progress. Collaboration is key to his approach; he provides a non-judgmental, supportive atmosphere where patients can focus on their issues.

His work with patients allows them an opportunity to explore their motivation behind behavioral choices and the consequences of those choices as they relate to the relationship issues and challenges they face. Through a collaborative effort, Jeffrey works with patients to examine their goals for change and reconcile the differences between where they want to be and where their choices have taken them (or continue to take them). Jeffrey will work with you to help move toward positive change and experience the life you visualize for yourself.

Mike Harrison, LPC


Mike Harrison is a licensed professional counselor (LPC). He has an experience of over 30 years in helping adults cope with a variety of issues including mood disorders, anxiety, grief loss issues, PTSD, change of life issues, anger issues, Drug alcohol issues and dealing their every day issues. He earned his master’s in behavioral studies from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He completed his post graduate studies from University of Texas.He h

as worked tirelessly setting up for psychiatric patients for twenty five years and drug alcohol setting for five years. Mike is dedicated to helping others find solutions to life challenges. He is happily married to his wife Jennifer and has a son and loves spending his spare time with his family.
